Pregnant Kate Middleton is a girl after our own hearts, again proving her thrifty nature by recycling her striking £1,500 hot pink Mulberry coat for a royal engagement.

Of course, wearing a £1,500 coat more than once is by no means ‘thrifty’ to us muggles – but for a member of the royal family, it’s always refreshing to see they don’t have an ‘out with the old, in with the new’ policy.

The Duchess Of Cambridge first debuted the feminine outerwear during a visit to New York in December 2014 when she was five months pregnant with Princess Charlotte.

She wore it again in March 2015 at eight months pregnant, during her last official engagement in London before going on maternity leave.

It covered her baby bump nicely both times and it seems Kate’s using it to do the trick again, with her six-month baby bump barely on show today during a royal engagement in Coventry.

Kate teamed her coat, which was from Mulberry’s autumn/winter 2014 collection, with black tights, black gloves and black heels for a sophisticated look.

Sadly – but unsurprisingly – the Mulberry coat has sold out, given it was nearly four years ago Kate wore it for the first time.

But if you’re desperate to get your hands on one just like it, Ted Baker, Jigsaw, Maje, Hobbs and Fenn Wright Manson still have a selection of very similar styles on offer.

Kate and William arrived in Coventry today to open a multi-million-pound medical centre.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in the city to throw open the doors to a £59million training centre for medical staff at Coventry University.

While there, they will be given a tour of the science and health building, as well as learn about how the new centre will benefit nurses, midwives and paramedics.

The facility enables students to learn about patient care at every stage of their journey and William and Kate will be shown a fictional patient’s medical journey in order to showcase the facilities the centre has to offer.

The royal couple will also meet students at the university building.

During their trip, Kate and William will also visit Coventry Cathedral and The Positive Youth Foundation, a charity which works with young people who find themselves in challenging living circumstances.

Kate is due to give birth to her and William’s third child in April this year. They already have Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two.
