Football icon Diego Maradona has been immortalised in bronze – but many can barely recognise him.
The Argentina great was honoured with a 12-foot sculpture of himself which was unveiled at a club in Calcutta, India.
Unfortunately, many fans think he looks more like their old aunty Sheila.
The sculpture has attracted a lot of attention online, with many tweeting their shock at the healthily coiffed statue, joking that it bears more resemblance to Mrs Brown than the 1986 World Cup winner as a 25-year-old.
Several thought it looked more like former England manager Roy Hodgson, others simply recognised their own gran.
I’ve just seen that Maradona statue. Jesus. The World Cup is five sizes too big and he looks like Shirley Bassey

Maradona was in Calcutta for a charity event where he told crowds: ‘I am not god of football but a simple footballer.
‘It’s amazing to have my statue here.’
But some fans even compared his work of art to another footballing hero bizarrely honoured in bronze.
Rivalling Maradona for the ‘world’s most hilarious statue award, Cristiano Ronaldo was made into a bust that had people across the globe in stitches.
His head sculpture was unveiled at his local airport in Madeira, Portugal, to the joy of many.
